"No One of Consequence"
Biography:
A little about myself:
First and foremost, I am a Christian. In fact, my faith is very important to me. It has helped me through some of the hardest points in my life as well as helping me to appreciate those special gifts which I have been granted. Actually, one of my favorite verses is:
"Not only so, we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Romans 5:3-4
Another verse which is similar in its message is:
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Romans 12:12
Everyone encounters trials in their lives, but sometimes we need to have hope and believe that tomorrow will be so much better. After all, having hope means possessing faith in things we cannot yet see.
"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1
With that said, I hope that you will understand that this is only my faith. I truly respect the opinions and beliefs of others. I really enjoy learning about the different ways that all of us see the world. There are so many things which we have to share with one another that I think a closed mind would only lessen us as individuals.
But, I ramble (and if you know me in person, then that should not surprise you at all). :P
Professionally, I am a Network Engineer in Ohio. I work in router and switch configuration accompanied with various forms of network design strategies. Additionally, I am currently studying for my CCIE certification. If you don't know what that particular designation is, then click here.
In terms of who I am as an individual, I have many eclectic interests. I used to study Aikido, but I have since let that aspect of my life lapse. I enjoy movies, and I listen to music almost continually.
In addition,
I write poetry and I am working on a novel. I think literature is timeless
and within some small context, the written word achieves a sort of immortality.
My ultimate goal, I think, in literature would be to write something which
touches the lives of those around me and leaves the world a little better
than when I entered it. A grand goal, but dreams are very important to
me. I tend to believe that championing our dreams is a constant battle
lest the passions of our spirit should ever be allowed to dim.
